Here's another cutaway view I marked up a long time ago. I don't have one but others seem to have good results with the Verus clutch fork. The OEM design is just a crappy fail in a few ways. You could get away with a dab of grease in the pivot for a while but it will come back, and it will progressively get worse as the socket wears.
