Look at cars that have hit telephone poles, most are dead center of the hood. people look at the pole that they want to miss and get it center up. (I kind of thought there was a pole magnet incorporated in the hood ornament.) As said above when trying to teach accident avoidance on track or road look where you want to go and many times that is where you will go. Never at what you want to avoid.
