Thanks for posting this. Quick question: Is there an advantage of the Maestro kit over the ASWC-1 kit that you'd originally considered?
Is there a reason you chose the Maestro over the ASWC-1?

Was able to re-pin the factory clock spring. Adding 5 wires to it. Running then my own wiring to the radio with a Maestro SW kit. Then programming the Maestro SW kit for the correct resistance on the wheel and including the illumination.
What was required to do this was the wheel and airbag with all the wiring and the Maestro SW kit.
So I own a 2015 BRZ and now have a 2017 Steering wheel with OEM buttons. Works like a champ!
