I would believe that. Haven't gotten much track time in this car but with my E46 (~3300 lbs) I had RE-71's and later RS4's. The RE-71's would overheat after about a lap and a half in time attack (felt greasy and soft). The RS4's would just about last a 15 minute session.

I don't have actual wet track experience though.
