So first issue, I changed the filter (even though it’s been less than 1 month). Still nothing, so I check outside unit & this is what I found
That’s years & years of cottons. Where I live, spring time, we get shit ton of cottons flying around. So pretty much it became like lint in the dryer. I would expect they would clean all the cotton off… clearly I was wrong. It took 2hrs taking apart, cleaning and putting back together.
After few hours later, it start pushing cold air (1 vent). Still trying to figure out issue 2, but can’t figure out, so tech is coming tomorrow to find out what causing the issue.

That's crazy! Guess you know to clean it annually now! Or maybe more often.
I wish mine were that simple, but no... there's a leak, it's R22 so expensive to refill (they do still have some on hand) and it's made in 2003... so basically not really worth trying to fix, and $500 in R22 would leak back out in months or less. Other unit already died a couple years ago and we couldn't get parts, so I'm not inclined to throw $ at this one.
Insurance policy has other ideas. And they'll still not cover more than $2k due to the age and only replace after the full investigation and repair has been ruled impossible. wtf. I mean, I get it I guess, but still. That should be somewhere on the paperwork up front...
Stay cool. If it's cold, there's probably more shit in your ducts or just an adjustment to be made somewhere. Probably. Could be a nearly dead blower...
