This day the customer was engrossed in a magazine and the bird didn't know what was going on. I saw the parrot acrobat his/her way down off the handle bars, stroll across the footpath and come into the shop looking for its owner. People were going wtf. The owner saw his bird on the ground, picked it up and place it own his shoulder and continued reading. It was soo cool.
Thing is they, Sulpher Cresteds, require a lot of care. They can get bored and their screech is f*cking annoying and loud and I wouldn't know what to do with one if one goes on holidays.
We have had about fifty in the backyard on one occasion though usually just 5-10 is common at the right time of year. They know to visit because I put out feed for them.

My next door neighbour has one of those.
They also have a very autistic daughter.
The girl gets screaming.
The bird gets screaming.
Sounds like a horror movie over there sometimes.
