In my eyes it remains a conglomeration of design cues that just don't fit together as a package. This results in the unfinished body kit appearance that bothers my sensibilities. Seeing it in person or watching more videos is not going to change that for me.

Limited viewing angles and lack of any depth perception means that absolutely the way the car looks will be misaligned at the start. Not only that, but most people will struggle to see it any other way than through the lens of the OG 86/BRZ.
Better or worse is entirely a personal choice, but having a car look different as you start seeing the images and videos and then with your own eyes is not 'Rationalised the things you didnt like'. Jesus.
