FS: Track wheel and tire package
**repost** - I've managed to get the wheels out of storage and take a pic with the required "sign"
Selling my track wheel and tire set, last used in 2017.
17x8 ET 45 - 15lbs/wheel
Hankook Ventus R-S3 (v2) 225/45
The good:
Wheels are straight, fit FT86 perfectly (with included hub rings) and the price includes a full set of lug nuts as the OE ones didn't seat well enough on these wheels. They hold air and balance perfectly.
The tires have around 50% of their tread left and haven't had too many heat cycles (roughly 4 track days total at Calabogie and SMP).
The not so good:
Cosmetically the wheels are "rough". The paint is coming off on large sections of the lip. One of the wheels has been repaired (professionally) on the inside lip... again I've had no issues and they balance perfectly and hold air.
The tires have been stored in a basement (ie. they've never been exposed to freezing temperatures) but are on the old side... so don't expect to win your next Time Attack with them... but they should be great for a bunch more track/HPDE days.
