Possible brake pad drag?

Hi guys, so I recently installed the AP racing sprint BBK and everything seemed fine for the past week or so, swapped to new ferodo ds1.11 pads for an upcoming track day and was driving it around today and noticed a low rumbling/humming sort of sound when going around 60-80km/h.

Could've been the road or just my imagination but after coming off the freeway I put my hand on the caliper/lug nuts and the driver's side (RHD) was definitly hotter than the left, don't think it was a huge amount (wasn't like one side was cold and the other was smoking, but don't have a temp gun so who knows).

Couldn't smell the brakes, the car wasn't pulling to one side when driving and it didn't feel like the car was low on power or anything.

What could be causing the right side to be hotter than the left? I do have the HKS fender mount oil cooler but I doubt that would make it that much hotter. Put the car on stands and I could rotate both wheels and they felt the same. Is there a possible issue with the brakes or could the new pads be a little too thick/needs to break in a bit?
