I don't disagree with this statement. The offerings out there for a new, affordable, RWD, NA, Sports Coupe are rather limited. If I was in the market last year, I would have bought one of the Gen1 twins even though there were some characteristics that I wasn't enamored with. With plans for getting into a Gen2, I'm glad the front bumper on the GR86 is not offensive to me as the one on the BRZ so I'm pretty sure at this point, that the GR86 will be my next vehicle purchase. As with any new edition introduction, I'll wait until I see it IRL before making any final decisions. Unless you're Jeff Bezos, compromises will be made.
