The earlier version of our twins has smaller heat reflect cover than the later versions.
I experienced the same melted plastic cover, so changed to new part and substituted the heat reflector with DEI's.

The new part numbers are,
UNDER COVER-SIDE,RIGHT
56440CA032 (56440CA030; 56440CA031)
COVER, ENGINE UNDER, RIGHT
