PRICE: $34k
MILEAGE: 14xx
LOCATION: Seattle, WA
Hey folks,
I'm intending to sell a minty fresh BRZ tS with <1500 miles (today). I was an early adopter of the platform (go see my earlier posts for proof) and I missed my FR-S ... when this came up for sale locally I couldn't help but jump on it.
Completely stock, though I do have parts I was going to install if interested. Fun fact, this car belonged to Perrin Performance in Oregon where it was held for 2 years before being sold to a local dealer. I picked it up in March of this year with 150 miles on the clock. Perrin never responded to any of my inquiries about the history of the vehicle though.
Followed break-in procedure, and changed oil as soon as I bought it. I put a Lachute performance exhaust on it and gave it a stage 1 tune for fun with the OFT. I have a brand new FTSpeedfactory UEL if you'd like.
The extra parts will be pick and choose, or I'll sell them locally:
Lachute Performance Comfort Exhaust - $500
Unmarried OFT - $300
FTSpeed UEL (BNIB) - $700
If you take all these components and the car itself - $35k flat.
Car comes with 2 sets of keys and all original literature including window sticker and still shrink-wrapped Manual. Also note that this car still has some factory plastic on the door sill. It had more throughout the cabin, but I removed it.
FULL DISCLOSURE: I tracked this vehicle at a one day driving course at Pacific Raceways (after reaching 1k miles of course). It's a class where they teach you basic track principles and you are driving at 7/10s (I'm not good enough to drive beyond that anyway :P). As a result, the tires show a little scuffing, but have plenty of tread left.
I just got it back from my local mechanic that does great work for JDM vehicles (Ishii Motor Industries). It had an oil change performed, stock components reinstalled and the brakes inspected. Car is good to go!
Why am I selling this thing, given that I love the platform so much?
Good question. I think I was more in love with the idea of recapturing what it was like to be 22. A lesson in chasing former highs I suppose. Either way, I have another car on the way soon and I need this one gone to make room.
CarMax/Vroom/Carvana
Since I need the vehicle gone sooner than later, I'm looking at the auto-buyers that are seemingly happy to pay good money for cars today. However, given how much I love this platform I'd much rather see it go to a fellow enthusiast.
Here are some quick pictures I snapped after a quick wash today. There are no discernable scrapes or chips of any kind on this vehicle that I have found. It will also come with the Perrin front mount plate kit which doesn't require drilling. All reasonable offers considered, but I need to hear from you soon. I'd like to get the Vroom/Carmax thing rolling by early next week.
