3rd gear.... that explains it.
I suspect that if other manufacturers were dynoing in 3rd instead of 5th which is 1.000 and is the standard from what I've learned they would show stronger exhaust gains.
Not trying to start (or continue any bashing) I guess it's entirely possible that you don't know this. Though I suspect this is a conscious decision for marketing purposes. Still nothing technically wrong with it as your gains are legit.
It does bring to mind, however, the subject of television contrast ratios. There is no industry standard in terms of measuring contrast ratio and that means that TV 1 from Manufacturer A could have a stated 1,000,000:1 ratio while TV 2 from Manufacturer B could have a stated 10,000:1 ratio yet they could perform identically or TV 2 could even perform better.
Basically if you compare 2 TVs from 1 manufacturer the contrast ratio will give an idea of how they perform compared to each other but when you start shopping across multiple manufacturers it's all just marketing. The numbers are meaningless.
