I bought a set of new TE37s for my RCF. After a couple weeks on Houston Craigslist, I got $2500, in perfect shape, for the $4K wheels. That loss is double what some sets of wheels cost new. I'm currently running 17x8, with 235/40 PS4s, and the car has more than enough grip for track or street. Matter of fact, I'd be tempted to put the stockers on for track, just so the car would be a bit more loose/playful. I've run 18x8.5 (~21lbs) w 235/40s, and it felt like the car was dragging a boat anchor. Took a real commitment to break it loose in the the dry. I recently shopped for wheels to change out the 17.3lb, 17x8s Koenig Ampliforms, and there's very few options out there for sub 18 lb wheels with workable offsets for our cars. So, I'll keep the wheels I have. Hopefully, with the GR86, that will change.
