I actually wish it was metered here, because there are a lot of assholes that have sprinklers running everyday 8 months of the year for absolutely no reason.

Not a fan of artificial turfs looks... but keeping a healthy green lawn is a ton of work unless you pay someone to do it. My parents probably do 20+ hours of yard maintenance a week with their lawn, shrubs, garden, and now greenhouse this time of year. They love it, but I've never been interested in that stuff. All I do is mow their grass when they go away in the summers.

Don't blame you for going the fake grass direction!
That's how much estimate cost for water/sewer for me. Moved in, in March so don't know the exact average, but from last 2 month's average I'm expecting $600 per year for water/sewer (before watering the grass).

Artificial grass have changed a lot in last 5~8yrs. Now it really looks like real grass. Of course, I've been playing in indoor soccer for a while now, so maybe I'm just used to the artificial grass looks and feel than natural grass.

Just like a stock market. When I was young, it's all up and down numbers that doesn't make sense. Now, somewhat interesting to see those numbers & invest in some of em. lol
