Well I got it to work on the 2nd try. I cleaned off the SD card so it only had the image I wanted on it. The "Search" button was still greyed out for some reason, but I was able to set the Start Up Screen with the one image that popped up.

Your handbrake needs to be activated for your screen to allow you to perform certain functions. (Safety feature)
