And some not wearing masks too. I wonder if they were required to prove full vaccination upon entry. Otherwise, if it's the honor system I don't think they'll ever allow that here.

Anyway, I like all the changes that I see. People complain about the side vent but if you are an STI owner like myself then you won't mind that detail. Also, I like that there is a deeper looking rocker panel as well. My 1st generation has a 5: AD body kit which was taken from the final concept 86. The rockers are more deeply sculpted which I prefer plus it is added protection from cones for people doing autocross.
The seats on gen 2 look good and substantial as well. Overall, I'd say they have achieved their goal if providing more car was the intention.
The pandemic might slow the initial sales, but rather than a typical diminishing sales number each subsequent year, I predict there will be growth from 1st to 2nd or possibly 3rd year depending on overall economimic recovery. I'd jump on it if I didn't have so much sunk in my gen 1, but I suppose it will be a classic eventually. That is unless they release a special edition gen 2 with a supercharger and Ohlins, which will be followed shortly thereafter by a giant meteor impacting the Earth.
The US is opening up faster than Canada is so expect to see more events.
I like the side vents on on the STI. They work with the muscular sort of industrial lines of the car. I don't like them on the Twins since they are in total contrast to the rest of the lines and appear forced. I get that they are a well known Subaru performance design cue but they could have toned them down a bit. That is a pile of metal work for two 1/4" by 1" slots.
