I think you should pick up a cheap kit from somewhere and give it a try. I'm sure you'll surprise yourself. If you really want to get fancy, use those extremely high grit (5000 to 12000) sand paper that I see many builders use. I don't really trust the Amazon ones since many of the reviews say they are no where near those grit ratings.

Nah I will stick to my dirty old flat and semi gloss vehicles. Maybe if I ever get my hands on the 2017+ 86 kit and do it up as the Hakone. They are hard to come by and very costly though
