To be honest I've never even thought much of them. But lately I've been thinking on it and how it's kind of annoying to cold start my car for a 3-10 minute drive only to park, let it cool off again, and do the same thing a half hour or less later.
The other benefit I forgot to mention earlier is that eventually I'll need to start going back to the office. I refuse to park my car at the train station, which is like four miles away. Sooo a scooter would be useful for commuting if I can feel comfortable enough.
