I haven't tried it (and probably never will) but I'm pretty confident that my legs won't fit back there with the seat all the way forward no matter how I try to fold myself up.
And if they did, I'd probably have to be hunched over due to a lack of headroom. (In the driver's seat, properly-adjusted, I can put my hand flat on top of my head and have mild pressure applied to the headliner of the car.)
I like a car that fits like a nice jacket, though.
