Long story short, I need to get a smog done and my readiness monitors don't seem to be on.
I have headers and an Ecutek tune, and when I use Ecutek's tool to look at the readiness (if I remember right, it's accessed via Tools > OBD Readiness Monitors > Oxygen Sensor Monitor) it doesn't look like its ready. There are a couple other oddities but the main ones I'm concerned about are in bold below:
OBD Monitors
- Supported not checked off, but shows ready
--- Heated Catalyst Monitor
--- Secondary Air System Monitor
--- AC Refrigerant Monitor
- Ready not checked off, but shows supported
--- Oxygen Sensor Monitor
Drivecycle Monitors
- Enabled not checked off, but shows ready
--- Heated Catalyst Monitor
--- Secondary Air System Monitor
--- AC Refrigerant Monitor
- Ready not checked off, but shows enabled
--- Oxygen Sensor Monitor
Regarding the Oxygen Sensor Monitor, I thought I was going to see:
- supported, not ready
- not enabled, not ready
Instead, I'm seeing:
- supported, not ready
- enabled, not ready
Wth? I have headers and haven't been throwing any related codes, I'm also not doing any of those non-fouler mods. Besides that, I was pretty sure (its been a couple years now) that the monitors were off.
I opened up the ROMs and looked at the logging params, but as I recall those are just some default setups (I think the tuner creates the list) and all params can be accessed at any time, its just a thing to look at, it has nothing to do with whether they're enabled or disabled.
I don't think I can run the OBD Readiness Monitors tool unless the ROM is flashed... I have a bunch of ROMs from all of my tunes over the years, that'd be a lot of flashing to find this needle in a haystack...
Is there any way to find out whether monitors are enabled/disabled on tunes quickly and efficiently, without all of the brain washing?
Side note, ignore the DTC, its a Flex Fuel related issue.
