On the commute, passing is very much improved. Mileage otherwise looks about nominal so far since my commute is often clogged up a bit. Forty mile round trip commute for reference, rural roads between towns. Opened up a bit this morning and ran it through 4th gear hard. Wahoo, comes on much better in low rpm, and really strong when the cam timing shifts in. Didn't notice the SC whine until about 6k. I'm impressed, it's much quieter than I expected.

No temp issues noted, water same as usual. I did go take a twisty bit on lunch today and got jiggy with it for about mile with a WRX behind me. That's where I noticed the most difference. I could shift less due to the torque dip being mostly gone and stay in 3rd. Also, you can rip the tires out much easier.

I'm impressed, so was the mechanic. He said it was a good fitting kit and had good instructions and made a whomping difference out of the car.

Still in the honeymoon, but liking the first impressions.
