I mean when the CEL is on and I am down shifting in to second it jerks a little. Reset engine codes to turn it off no issues. I suspect it's only doing this when the CEL comes on to protect the engine. I'm wondering if it could be a bad cam sensor or wiring issue. You may consider doing a search (use google - FT86 club ???). I think there has been several discussions about checking out those sensors.
