Haha

Most diesels (small cars) in Europe use 0W_30 and less :P

Don't sweat it. Haven't seen or heard of damages that resulted from using a more viscous engine oil (the Subaru BRZ japanese user manual also lists 5W_40 as a suitable alternative to 0W_20 "water", stock engine).

I learned my lesson using 0W_20 (was without an appropriate oil cooler, basic bolt-ons and tune) in my engine:

Now I only use quality PAO/Ester engine oil with the aforementioned 5W_40 viscosity (Ravenol RCS is closer to 5W_50 than 5W_40) + more frequent oil changes.

As for the HKS GT kit. What struck me is the naturally aspirated - linear power delivery nature of the car/engine has been kept.

For me personally, it's perfect. No sudden surges of torque and very predictable.
