They are still on an aggressive upswing. With such a high rate of positive tests, it begs the question if they are going to hit a testing limit soon. I'm sure they are already missing many cases. I know someone who’s had their two Pfizer doses and is going to northern India for a two week humanitarian kind of thing.
I initially thought it’s a crazy idea and pretty much still do. The humanitarian thing itself is fine (helping with orphanages and other disadvantaged youth in this small village area) but the optics still aren’t good IMO. Not only could they still catch COVID but they have to travel through these major cities to get to the destination, so.. it’s not super safe for them or others if they end up carrying any COVID (at least to my limited knowledge of how that works).
