I'm surprised you went with a 22m for D street without being able to do other modifications like springs/coilovers. From what I've read, 22mm (solid) might pushing it in the front without tailoring the rear or other components.

I'm looking for my front sway size and generally see 20mm is a good size given the stock is 18mm. That 2mm jump really increases the stiffness.

I have large 24mm bars on my WRX, both front and real. I felt the car actually handled worse with them. They're almost too stiff, wheels pick up a lot at autox, front and rear.

Although after seeing some pictures from this weekend, I really need to get one for the BRZ. I'll at least keep 22mm in mind.
