Is that typical? Did you actually feel like you were getting to push the car through corners or were you held back a ton in the corners like it looks? Obviously I don't expect you to be dominating everyone on the track but you do keep catching up to cars at the corners over and over again.

It's poor track etiquette and tends to happen in less experienced run groups. Rather than allowing a faster car to pass on the straights to avoid holding them up in the corners, the inexperienced drivers will push on the straights to stay in front.
