Last week in a meeting with my manager I told him my team could be better about documentation of processes.

He replied “I don’t think so, we’re way better than most teams”

Today a task came up that I haven’t done before.

So I ask a teammate, “do we have a run book on how to do this?” (that I would follow for steps and then learn the process)

Teammate’s response: “you should try it, it’s common work”

Me: what?
