I play percussive instruments and sing both leads and harmonies/backing vocals in an open mic jam environment, but I don't really consider myself a musician. It's more just a fun thing to do with a group of musician friends I've made over the years. I've only been paid once out of a tip jar ever in the 100 or so gigs we've done. Definitely not a pro, and haven't done it since the whole covid shit storm began.
