It shows that targeted vaccinations are effective but also that people working in essential work and factories are getting it while rich people stay home. I admit I fall into the latter group. What's a "UK variant"? The French are saying the same thing that they've been hit by a UK variant.. We did experience a variant but I think it was either South African or from Brazil.
Anyway, things are improving here, lockdowns easing, talk of vaccine passports is causing a ripple. I had to carry a little yellow vaccination record when I was traveling overseas, can't see what the fuss is about. However, they should not be expecting workers serving the public (shops, bars and restaurants) to police whether someone is carrying a passport or not.
