So they confuse the masses thinking its NOT the twins by providing a view at a specific angle that shows off some shadowing/reflection that you cant tell what the heck is being reflected. (plus none of the subaru/toyota lineup has a badge that sits on a blank space of fascia, they're all within a grille in some manner)
Should have known as much.
Plus if you look at the badges, its not at a direct straight on shot of the badges either, you can see some thicker shadowing at the top, indicating the light source is coming from somewhere skewing towards the front.
With an actual car (old or new) i couldnt tell what angle that was, cuz i dont think any press photos are from that angle.
