If you mean my comment on TAGC it's pretty unimportant to the layperson and I was literally pulling from memory of mid 80's biology courses so I used the wrong terminology, they are referred to as the base pairs. Pilot dude was either being facetious or seriously seeing something there that could be better explained if that is what helps.
DNA is a blueprint for a house. It produces little work orders (called mRNA) to make specific proteins , but the work orders aren't part of the blueprint and only work once.
Since we know our bodies can be primed to create a better immune response, we give it the work orders (mRNA) to synthesize the spike protein nlrmally found on the Covid19 virus. Once that protein is present, your body practices reacting to Covid19, even though it hasn't been attacked by the actual virus.
Your DNA never changes and your body fights the virus like a champ, avoiding severe pneumonia or other life threatening symptoms if you do eventually contract it.
