I suggest reading again carefully. RNA is a superset of functionally different
types, one of which is mRNA. RNA does not copy DNA. DNA produces RNA which then go on to make/do all kinds of things. In that sense, again functionally, it does not create or alter DNA. This article explains how you have your cause>effect in reverse.
