Still getting used to this electric stove top.

It's not terrible but it's definitely different.

When I was making something the other night, I "turned the burner off" and set the pot of food back on the same spot, and realized it resumed cooking.

With a gas burner, once you turn the gas off then realistically it just begins cooling down.

So I need to probably start moving a finished pot/pan of food to either a cool burner or a trivet on the counter.
