Only difference is reduced droop travel with the B8, to retain lowering springs when the car is lifted. However B6s are fine for up to something just over 1" lower. So B6 with more droop travel might be "better". But then again at 1.25" lowered I like that I don't have to jack the car up as much to get wheels off the ground.
