I think you guys are reading it a bit differently. In Europe and Asia they have the GR Yaris launched a couple of months ago and they haven't had the footfalls or order books die down. So it will seem sensible to hold on to GR 86 launch when yaris is setting their sales registers going. Once that euphoria dies down , they will do a global GR86 launch is what I suspect.
