Exactly, but there are other FR and AWD cars that move a lot quicker than theirs. Whats your point?

Point was there were plenty of other fast FF cars during their time that didn't need a front wing. Sure a car that is 5-10 years newer is faster. I wouldn't expect anything else. If it was the same speed as a car raced in 2000-2005 that would be sad.
