LOL, it's all good. I think the auto on the 86 GT is fine, especially in manual mode with the paddle shifters the only thing not getting in on the action is my left foot.

Plus, if I've learned anything in 28.5 years of being married to her, a successful marriage requires three things: honest communication, occasionally compromising, and an appreciation of our differences. Love alone just don't hold up. She's not a car person. She never will be. Pretty gracious actually that she's willing to let me get the car since it will be a 'second' car, just for fun/pleasure driving. I could tell when I test drove the one last weekend she wasn't thrilled about how loud the exhaust sound was but she knew that since I'd conceded on the transmission, she'd live with it.
