I recently started getting the TOB sound, it is quite subtle but it you listen closely you can hear it, especially from the outside. My question is how long does it take to get really bad? I don't want to replace it now as I'm thinking about changing out the clutch pack altogether. I also plan a light track day in a month, should I be worried my TOB is gonna give?
Buna!

There is no specific mileage at which it goes.

Its a wear item and whenever it goes then the best approach is to get the fork and pivot changed to better ones. Verus makes forged one and Cusco makes a reinforced one. It seems that the flex in the stock fork maybe the culprit.
While you have gearbox down its better to get it all done at one go, since you will be tracking too.

Hope this helps.

PS: You guys have a track? Back in the days I didn't see a track there. That was ages ago, mind you.
