Because I’ve found news sources on airbags killing people, I’m going to decide that from now on any car I drive in must have airbags completely disabled and/or I won’t wear a seatbelt.

Obviously we can’t trust seatbelts or airbags since they can be faulty and clearly don’t even help young children.
