If I recalled all the times I've conducted repairs in auto store or dealer parking lots, I'd write a small book. My favorite was with Dad in Yellowstone Park. Alternator regulator died and we lost charging. You can recharge it with a paper clip if you know what your doing on with GM alternators. Hit the charge positive and ground it through one of the holes in the housing. Got us out of the park, to a Napa parking lot.

I bought 5 qts of Mobil 1 and a filter this week for 34 bucks, then went back to pay 10 more dollars for the last quart. Oops. But usually I pay 85-120 per change. I'm buying a lower profile jack soon so I can have two and lift it all at once so I can put the Perrin shifter bushing in.

I've been looking for a place with a lift and have a contact via this page. I've just never done it. And I'm a home guy that does it in my garage.

Look up that DarrenDriven. If he's still on here and your in PDX region. He helps a lot of folks out, or did. Been a few years since I was here a lot.
