Why take a good deal if it's not what you want?
There may be a way to change the logic but it's probably far more trouble and cost than it'll be worth. Unsure if tuning software will be able to change that switch function

Hopefully someone will have an answer for you, but I'd try to just get used to it.
I know the frustration; I got used to the tiptronic shifting in E46 BMWs for a bit when I worked in a shop. Going from those to other vehicles, it was backwards and I continually was going the wrong way
