Indeed they are. Well sold and well bought. It went to an extremely wealthy person in California who is or was high up in the SpaceX chain of command. We're not sure what sort of life it will lead, but suspect it will sadly become a garage ornament, as the new owner doesn't come across as much of a bike guy. Or any sort of gearhead, for that matter. He clearly didn't read the auction description, as his first question was "Does it come with any spare parts or paperwork...?" Dude...there are BOXES of that stuff and it's all listed in the description and photos...ugh. My buddy was going to have the bike professionally crated for shipment, but the buyer turned it down and said he already had a 'bike transport service' lined up, which turned out to be a dude with a pickup pulling an enclosed trailer filled with a half dozen other bikes. They just threw tiedowns on it, cranked her down and off it went... The guy has money coming out his ears, so apparently his attitude is if it gets damaged, no big deal - he'll just have it fixed. The bike has gone from possibly the most attentive and caring owner it could have to one who just sees it as a 'thing'...oh well.
