I have to agree, two different types of burger joints altogether. To me, the closest true "fast food" to Five Guys would be Hardee's with their thickburgers, but Five Guys is still a higher quality.
(Full disclosure, I may be proving @
Spuds theory right given Hardee's started in NC and I've eaten multiple times at Restaurant #1 in Rocky Mount before it was torn down, still my assessment stands! I've also eaten at KFC#1 and Chick-fil-a #1 on multiple occasions.)
