It's not hard to imagine a few different ways they could be used.

Some examples:

1. Getting into nursing homes to visit at-risk relatives (although I suppose care homes are supposed to be some of the first recipients so maybe not as important). Right now I can't visit my grandfather except for specially set-up appointments for a very short amount of time and it has to be outside on a patio even in the cold. You can't go into the facility or anything.
2. If areas have restrictions on number of patrons in a store, like there are right now, then maybe having a vaccination card could allow you in as a separate queue so you don't need to wait. (right now in California some counties are going back to like 25% capacity allowed at a time in stores)
3. Maybe being allowed to do indoor dining?
