I will let Emilio respond for more accurate numbers, so don't take my word for truth. Also, it's a long read, but there's also more info further back in this thread.
Beyond the initial cost of buying the car of Carmax, I would guess is around $7k retail value for the merchandise added, with the most of the budget being built around the 949 Racing XIDA prototype coilover system + other suspension components to optimize the car for more grip and stability at the limit of adhesion (

The other big bits being the gearing (trans + final gear in diff), the Delicious E85 tune, Wilwood BBK (front and rear) (
