Hope your sister pulls through! Chemo is most certainly rough on both patients and their family members.
I was recently accepted into nursing school and start in January. Oncology infusion nursing is a specialty I'm looking at. Getting to know patients on a 1:1 basis and helping them from beginning to end of their treatments sounds more appealing than the "band-aid and fix" acute issues I'm working in now.
