I like plastidip for winter wheels. Protects them from corrosion.

Not a fan of Using dip on nicer wheels. Finish never holds up to brake dust and grime. It will embed into the finish and look like crap after a while.

DIY rattle can looks acceptability good. I did a set this summer with duplicolor wheel paint. Issue with 1k clear is that the finish is soft which isn't ideal for wheels.
I noticed some nicks from rocks hitting them.
2k would he more ideal, but needs proper ventilation and a real respirator as it's pretty volatile stuff.
