80lbs heavier isn’t ideal I agree, but I think the 2nd gen will feel faster in pretty much all situations. And it probably won’t be difficult to reduce some of that 80lb gain. Lighter wheels and brakes. Remember this is the first version. I can see an STI (or TS) version being lighter.
