So other than the Valenti taillights there's nothing aftermarket on the car
Any lights will flicker if the RPMs are dropping to the point where the car is about to stall. You need to address that issue before trying to trouble shoot flickering lights.
A check of the battery is a good idea but it is not likely the root cause of your issue now.
